Organic Camu Camu

What is Organic Camu Camu?

Scientific name: Myrciaria dubia

Camu Camu, also known as camucamu, cacari, or camocamo, is a small bushy riverside fruit tree from the Amazon rainforest in Peru and Brazil. It grows to a height of 3–5 m and bears a red/purple cherry-like fruit. It is a close relative of the jabuticaba and the guava berry.

Our Organic Camu Camu has been grown by professional farmers which cultivate with the utmost respect to original organic traditions. This means that our Camu Camu is as natural as it gets, and contains all the nutrients needed for a healthy life style.

Its nutrients

One of the few known facts of camu camu is that it contains 60 times, (that’s 60 times) more vitamin C than an orange. Sixty times!

Aside from being a source of vitamins camu camu has been traditionally used and valued in South America for its clear advantages from its several nutrients…
